I find your lifestyle fascinating, I've always been drawn to the Amish way of life. There was a TV series on here recently which featured 4 Amish teenagers who had come over to the UK to spend some time with various people around the country. They were so police, friendly outward going and hard working. In total contrast to many of the youngsters over here. All four of them had practical skills too, be it carpentry dressmaking or cooking. They were very impressive. I live their simple back to the land lifestyle, where they eschew all modern conveniences. Although I find their dogmatic interpretation of the bible off putting. Take careLobma.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04891372502524464186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-212204477271233848.post-23929870496041638802010-11-17T08:21:14.329+00:002010-11-17T08:21:14.329+00:00pagan,christian,consumerism, sort of says it all d...pagan,christian,consumerism, sort of says it all doesnt it.
i admit to buying a bit of fabric, as im making napkins (reusable) and napkin rings (recycled pipe). a stone mat (beach pebbles) and other hand made items. total expenditure...about 3 hours wages and a whole lot of time and thought.
not a christian either but love to come together with family and celebrate being alive. summer in NZ and garden full of fresh stuff, great time to celebrate.Brenda The Bregle Rebel Bag Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13339446362664808456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-212204477271233848.post-66313744742262217082010-11-16T23:33:11.441+00:002010-11-16T23:33:11.441+00:00oh wow! i just did a post on FB about this...
